Spent today doing lots of fun stuff. Watche the 2nd and third Lord of the Rings. Obsessed about how soon I can get the other books in the Motal Instruments and the Iron Fey series'. Took lots of notes for my new story which, no surprise here, has elements of everything I've been reading and watching the past few days.

Gone back to the Nephilim (part-Angel) and Tiefling (part-demon) characters. Giving it an olden-days feel with elements similar to the Lord of the Rings. Allowing more futuristic stuff on the grounds that it's not really olden times, but more of a feel like Matched and the Hunger Games, where it's the indefinate future that's been reordered because of some great calamity. In this case, a great battle between the demons and demon-blooded and the Nephilim.

While complicated, I'm sure this'll be a lot of fun to write. It'll help that there's a lot more books involving Angels and Nephilim for inspiration availible these days.
